Day 16.216: Maudslay State Park

We traveled about an hour across two state lines to visit Maudslay State Park in Massachusetts today. It was a visit of two halves - both because we stopped for lunch in between the two parts of the visit and because the first part were the semi-formal grounds and gardens of this estate and the second took us into the more native pine woodlands near the river.

Here are the pictures from the gardens part of the park, including one of many small copper butterfly sightings and a rather good visit from a ruby-throated hummingbird.
