Day 18.217: One seal on a rock

Our nature group was back at Laurel Hill Cemetery this morning. One of the highlights of our visit was seeing this harbor seal balancing on this small rock. I guess options are limited when it’s close to high tide.

We saw it clamber onto the same rock at least three times. Each time it was able to sort-of hop or bounce into place.

And in case anyone noticed the titles of the last few posts and wondered what was going on, there was zero reason for the countdown.
