Day 12.207: Atlantic Way Trail

Our walk yesterday was on the Atlantic Way Trail - which probably sounds a bit grander than it is. In fact it's a straightish trail of a little less than a mile that links a cul-de-sac called Atlantic Way with Seaside Avenue (near the beach) via the edge of the marshes near Goosefare Brook.

As Exile #2 said yesterday, it looked like it was going to be buggy and it was:


As we emerged from the trees, the rain started, but it didn't come to anything and the views over the marsh were pretty lush:

Here are the best of the bird pictures - a goldfinch, a song sparrow in the rain and a different picture of yesterday's eastern kingbird showing its distinctive white tail tips:
