With graduation safely out of the way, we could enjoy the storms and rain that swept through yesterday. The storms got rid of the humidity and heat that we’d had for a few days and created perfect conditions for going to the beach. Well, perfect, if you didn’t want to come within 6 feet (or more) of anyone. One valiant group had brought their small children to play despite the grey skies and brisk wind , but the rest of us spread out widely, dog walking or just walking.
We had a fun check-in with Exile #1's family, then much of the rest of the day was spent in projects: woodworking for Exiles #4 and #1, pest control in the garden for me and some world building and character development in a game that is being hatched, for Exile #4 and E5N1. Let’s hope this busyness continues when vacation starts for real tomorrow.
