Day 15.305: There they go

Exile #2 went to the Veterans Day parade and managed to catch a glimpse of E5N1 marching with the school band.

She also heard them play the Star-Spangled Banner and - as they marched away, the piece we know as the football chant “Here We Go” but is apparently a Sousa March called Stars and Stripes Forever. 

This evening - due to rain from Nicole as she tracks north - the Pep Band bowed out of the football, but E5N1 went in any case to encourage the team to a semifinal victory - probably with some cheering but probably not “Here We Go!”
