First - from a distance- we saw just a weird-shaped stone, then we saw the bird poop and declared it “the poop stone”. Only when we got quite close, did we see that it had a face and an inscription “For those who sailed here to find a new life”.
We may not have - strictly - “sailed” but maybe on this first day of a new year of our adventure we can claim that it is in some way for us.
