We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary today with a tasty sandwich in Portland at lunchtime and a stroll to our sister city over the river this evening for a meal at Batson Brewing. We had a short wait for our table, which we spent in the games room, fitting in a quick go on one of the pinball machines and a round of connect four which I might just have won... 😉

Our food was delicious and partially complimentary after Exile #1’s meal arrived sprinkled in cheese, despite the best efforts of our server. It didn’t cause too much dismay, however, as a new plate arrived almost immediately. The only issue, really, was this guy, who wouldn’t stop staring at us all night.
