Exile #2 made Welsh cakes for the occasion and I took a picture saying, "Let's get a photo of the Welsh one with the Welsh cakes!"
Which was met with a very American chorus, "We're Welsh too!":
I am not Welsh, but I enjoyed my Welsh cakes with some local dessert beer:
All of which was quite satisfactory for a Friday night - whatever the other causes for celebration!
