It’s been a musical kind of a day. This morning all five of us sang a song together at church. (yes, parallels were drawn to the Von Trapp family).
We came home to spend some time tearing our hair out over Exile #3’s student financial aid application. Then, as an antidote, Exile #1 and I went out to an open mic this evening. It was fun to get out and perform and also to enjoy listening to some other local musicians. Hopefully we’ll do it again before too long.
