About a week after the splooting squirrel, I saw a goldfinch that was behaving strangely and looking a little bedraggled. It was staying closer to me than I would expect and when it moved it seemed to be having trouble and didn’t go far
Just as I was wondering what to do, it flew away perfectly normally.
Strange. I had a similar experience with a blackbird in the front garden recently.
ReplyDeleteIt's possible it was recovering from a window-strike or some other trauma I suppose. It really seemed fine in the end though.
