Day 17.270: Gilsland Farm

On Sunday afternoon, Exile #2 and I went to the Maine Audubon preserve at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth. Here is the bird report. 

 

Osprey

White-throated sparrow

Shy white-throated sparrow

Hermit thrush skulking

Hermit thrush showing off its brown tail

Swamp sparrow. First heard and then spotted 

Small flycatcher, likely a phoebe

Hairy woodpecker. Also heard before we saw it - showering wood chips as it pecked at the tree above our heads
