Day 17.365: Thursday bird… house?

Our Thursday morning group gathered today - not for a very cold nature walk, but for a wonderful breakfast in the warmth of a member’s nearby home. There was some birding out of various windows - whichever way we looked there seemed to be a feeder of one kind or another with various visitors ranging from turkeys to red-breasted nuthatches. As we left we were encouraged to take a wonderful nesting box all of which had been made by our multi-talented host. 

The box I chose - we look forward to finding a suitable spot for it - and hopefully - as a result - in due course welcoming some new neighbors
