While we hunker down for the first snow worth shoveling this season, Exile #4 is having fun in the sun. They were delighted to discover that their study abroad would coincide with what is usually the grimmest, slushiest term in Massachusetts, and while I mostly love the snow, the sunshine does look rather nice. We believe some studying is happening but so far we’ve mostly seen dinner cruises, fireworks, and some rather impressive wildlife!

Talking of impressive wildlife, our coyote continues to visit in the wee small hours, always being sure to give a couple of howls for good measure to wake us up, but most recently it has sounded like another coyote is replying from some distance. We know there is a pack down towards the beach and probably some inland. I guess they have us surrounded!
Oh, and Exile #3 wouldn’t let me finish without letting you know that she beat Exile #1 and me soundly in our game of Wingspan this afternoon!
