Day 18.324: Saturday birding at Pepperell Mill

Our Saturday morning outing consisted of a brisk walk around the mill complex on both sides of the river and a loop of the Saco Riverwalk trail. Here is some of what we saw:

There was very little water coming down the river on this side of the mill

Distant circling gulls

Goose flyby

House sparrow

Mallards

European starling and northern mockingbird 

Plenty of water at the hydro dam

More distant gulls

Door to nowhere

Strange roof geometry
