It’s been a packing up sort of day. Exile #1 has been getting ready to go on a work trip and E5N1 has been getting ready to go back to college. I think one of them may be slightly ahead of the other in terms of preparation but then only one of them is getting up in the wee small hours to catch a plane.
E5N1’s preparations seem mostly to have involved buying expensive sticks. First, a conductor’s baton and a book about “life on the podium” and secondly some drum sticks and a book containing everything there is to know about percussion. Exciting times ahead it seems...
