Day 10.118: Did Alexa do what you wanted?

For the most part, we like having our Echo Dot in the house and generally its ability to make sense of natural language questions is pretty impressive. Having said that, occasionally "she" hears what she thinks is her name at which point she streams our conversation to the cloud for a while until the algorithm guesses what to do.

The other day she interrupted our conversation - seemingly at random - to give us a week-long weather forecast. When I checked the app, this is what I found:

Alexa heard: "alexa what's the den four week yeah even know everybody is it it was like have an apple friday night"

Did Alexa do what you wanted?

I have no idea how to answer that.
