Day 10.267: Early brass affinity?

This photo - from seven years ago - showed up in my on-this-day-in-history feed in Google Photos and I thought it was E5N1 showing early promise as a trumpet player:

Then, on a closer look, I realised he probably thought he was swigging from a small oddly-shaped goblet!
