Day 12.194: That's great

As we were walking through the mill the other day, we spotted what looked like a concrete disk hanging from a pipe. What could it be?

Answer - a concrete disk hanging from a pipe.

But stranger than that - it looks like the pipe used to be hanging from the floor above until a disk was cut out to put a drainage grate in - and that disk was exactly where the pipe-support was mounted. I'm sure it was the only possible place for that grate. Right?
