Day 9.202: Timber Point

Having dropped Exile #4 off for a sleep-over birthday party, the rest of us went to make the most of a cooler afternoon with a walk a Timber Point.

It includes a wonderful hedgerow - with an ocean view - that was looking particularly lovely today:

We made it as far as the island, but decided against the walk around it this time. Here are some photos from the trail - including Exile #3 recreating her "famous" Georgina Washington pose and E5N1 with his "two-tone rock" and "heart stone"

We had a great outing - and there are more photos for me to sort through.

  1. If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now. It's just a spring clean for the May queen. (I always thought it was "sprinkling", to be quite honest, even though it doesn't rhyme with "queen".)

    1. I'm aware of "spring cleaning" but why would there be a bustle in the hedgerow?!

    2. Why indeed! That Song played constantly my freshman year in college, so Page & Plant have me programmed to recall it on any of those uncommon words... I wish I could work in "the road you're on" for your recent race but it'd be a reach...

    3. Of course I should have just responded "No Stairway!" - but I couldn't resist going to the pun-tastic image of a Victorian skirt support dumped in a hedgerow. I suspect they intended to evoke "hustle and bustle" but - then again - maybe not :)

    4. That would have been my guess... :)
