Today was my birthday and it just so happened that everyone was off work, so after some present opening and blueberry muffins we went for a gentle stroll on the beach at Camp Ellis. It was perfect - not too hot, after some mighty storms yesterday.
We headed into Portland for dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant, then, finally, treated ourselves to a little gelato (lavender honey and espresso chip for me - yum!).
Thank you for the many lovely birthday wishes. It was a very enjoyable day.
