Day 12.187: Work trip

Not the normal kind! Today, a group of us - five locals and three out of town visitors left the office early to go out for a celebration dinner. It was quite an evening.

We took the ferry from Portland - past some different views of some familiar landmarks.

Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse and Portland Head Light:

Fort Gorges and the Eastern Promenade:

Through the islands to Diamond Cove on Great Diamond Island, where we had dinner at Diamond's Edge

before returning as the sun was setting:

That definitely beats a normal afternoon in the office!
