Day 18.220: Saturday morning plants

Here are some of the plants we paid attention to at the cemetery on Saturday morning at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Maple seeds

The tiny Velco-like seeds of broad-leaved enchanter's nightshade

Large seed pods on a honey locust tree

Ripening hawthorn berries

Spruce cones

I spotted this three-seed maple cluster (normal twin seed for comparison). The triplets were evenly spaced at approximately 120 degrees - no-one in the group remembered seeing one before.
