Day 12.244: Marginal Way was a-buzz

Yes, there were a lot of visitors on Marginal Way on Saturday enjoying a dry Saturday afternoon and the surf kicked up by the distant storm. And then there was also this:

a warning to beware of bees and a cardboard sign saying "Active Beehive - Caution". Can you see the hive?

How about now:

the bees were regularly coming and going as we stood there, but I didn't really feel much need for special caution. It was just good to see a thriving wild hive in these days of falling bee populations.
