We were a little surprised to find out that our nearest couple of Christmas tree farms had already closed for the season. I guess the threat of heavy snow over Thanksgiving spurred many people into action. We decided to visit our local farm stand (just a couple of minutes drive away) instead, to see if they had any to offer and we struck lucky. E5N1 had some fun with the family puppy, while Exile #1 tied the tree on to the roof of the car. We made it home with the tree still attached, remembered not to drive into the garage and this afternoon, finally decorated. So, its starting to look quite festive around here.
