Day 13.030: Exile #2's Sunday Column #284

Exile #2 writes...

Last night we made a return trip to the Franco Center in Lewiston for an evening of dance, hosted jointly with Bates College. Exile #3 was dancing with the adult company from her dance school.

It's a striking building and an impressive stage 

It was a varied night of dance . Some pieces required thought, others were more accessible. Some were emotionally challenging, others humorous. There were unexpected items, such as a performer with a hoop, or another who could jump rope on a unicycle. It made for an entertaining evening.

It was a late night, though, and we were grateful to get home, although we did enjoy a lovely full moon, and the sight of many trees still bent low with the weight of ice, on the ride home.
