Easter Day was beautiful here and, from what I gather on Facebook, similarly lovely all over the place. Exile #1 and I slipped out for a walk on the beach but otherwise we enjoyed our Easter service from the sofa and then some good food and good chatter with the family.
We didn’t have lamb, as is often traditional in the UK, nor did we have ham, that is often the choice for a special meal here but, instead we had beef. This is a pretty rare occurrence for us, and it’s mostly so we can have Yorkshire puddings - E5N1, in particular, is very fond of them. In fact, at least once we have sacrilegiously eaten them with pork to satisfy his cravings! Today we did a little better than that and very nice it was too! Happy Easter!
