After we walked along the beach last Sunday, we decided to walk back along the road and we stopped briefly to look out over the marshes near Goosefare Brook (a kind of mini version of Scarborough Marsh - at the next outlet along):
and got this spring's first good sighting of a red-winged blackbird:
