Day 15.149: Plover; in the mist

Back on Day 15.132, still very much in shock from the news about my mum, Exile #2 and I went for a walk on the beach - it was rather foggy - maybe it seemed appropriate: 

We were very happy to see a piping plover though - I haven't heard a report on the local nesting success of these endangered birds yet this year after a record-breaking (good) year last year.

Hopefully it will be another good season for them.
