Day 15.244: Exile #2's Sunday Column #407

It seems to be a thing here for colleges to set aside one weekend during college term for families to come and visit their students (I think the understanding is that the rest of the time we will leave them well alone!). So it is, we are due to visit Exile #4 next weekend. In preparation for this, we have been receiving regular requests for items we might bring. So far, on the list we have a bowl, a yoga mat, a cycle helmet, a white board, and a pin board. Exile #4 would also like their plant collection, so we will also be attempting that slightly more fragile transfer.

Meanwhile, it’s a busy week for the other Exiles. Exile #3 has a friend arriving to stay tomorrow, and E5N1 is preparing to play in his first pep rally. We were slightly disappointed to find out that this will not involve a full on marching band uniform but they are doing a version of Funkytown and Crazy in Love by Beyoncé, so that’s pretty good compensation.

Some of Exile #4's plants temporarily relocated to our room
