E5N1 has had an intense week working backstage for the school production. Last weekend they finished painting the set. Monday night was a full run through, Tuesday was the dress rehearsal. Thursday was opening night. Friday was another performance, followed by a very late meal out. Saturday there was a matinee and an evening performance, with a potluck in between, and a traditional “initiation” for the first-timer students afterwards. Today, at last, was the final performance but still not the end. The cast and crew took a trip to a local ice cream place afterwards, before heading off for the end of show party. It was tough to get him out of bed this morning, I dread to think what it will be like tomorrow.
