Day 17.269: Saturday - not just birds
Here are a few other things of interest from our Saturday morning visit to Laurel Hill Cemetery (apart from the birds):
A gray squirrel carrying a bunch of acorns
Making a quick exit - it's food storing time.
Another nice cross orbweaver (European garden spider), things with "garden" in their common names always makes me think of the British phrase "common-or-garden" meaning ordinary. It's a just a common or (in this case) garden spider.
On the same tree we saw both "hen of the woods"...
...and "chicken of the woods" fungi.
