I already posted some pictures from Saturday's visit to the beach, but as Exile #2 mentioned yesterday, it was a two-part beach day.
Part one, at Fortune Rocks Beach in Biddeford started with some traditional sandcastle building, but rather than watching it be destroyed by the waves of the rising tide, the girls and I fought valiantly to rebuild the defences for quite some time and with some success, but in the end there was no saving it of course.
It does make for an interesting challenge for next time.
Meanwhile, E5N1 was collecting rocks. He cleaned the sand off them and then invited us to visit his "museum" where he managed to make looking at a pile of stones quite a dramatic event:
