Day 11.133: Birds at the marsh

Here are some of the birds we saw on our walk at Scarborough Marsh on Saturday (click for bigger):

Clockwise from bottom left: an unknown smallish raptor, a double-crested cormorant, a great egret, a red-winged blackbird, a snowy egret, a willet, and three pictures of the glossy ibises.

This is a great time of year to see birds at the marsh - lots of activity but not yet too much cover!
