Day 12.012: Wrap up warm!

There's nothing like a walk on the beach to remind us of the seasonal nature of life here. The pier is closed and part-boarded up:

Wherever boats are stored they are shrink-wrapped against the winter weather. Buildings however, are not generally shrink wrapped. Occasionally though...

I suppose when you have a seasonal business, you have to get improvements and repairs done in the off-season, however inconvenient it might be to keep the work area in workable conditions when the temperatures are plummeting to near 0 °F.
