It has been a lovely Maine spring weekend. The skies have mostly been blue and the temperature has been perfect. Seeing as it is May, it seems only fair for actual spring weather to be arriving. We got out as much as we could, spending an enjoyable morning exploring a local trail network yesterday, and taking a lengthy stroll around the neighborhood this evening. It was very noisy in the neighborhood, not with people, but with birds and peepers singing at the top of their voices.
We’ve also begun tackling a new “I love Maine” jigsaw puzzle, which is a mishmash of all the local brands and attractions, from lighthouses and whoopie pies to LL Bean and Moxie (looks like Irn Bru, tastes like medicine). It’s one way of keeping it all in mind while that’s all we can do.
