We woke to the familiar sound of rain accompanied by the familiar sight of a warning about potential flash flooding in our inboxes. In addition, there was also a warning about possible tornadoes. So it was that before we left for church, we had to remind the young Exiles to head for the basement in the event of an emergency.
It was, fortunately, not necessary. In fact, the storms and winds that we’d been warned about never reached us. Still the rain kept it up for much of the day. Looks like this week might be a bit kinder for our many vacationers, however.
