After a difficult Friday, including a late dismissal from school, E5N1 was up early again on Saturday morning to play in a jazz festival. We snuck in toward the end of the day to hear his jazz combo playing a few pieces and enjoyed what they’ve managed to put together so far this year.
We also made time to watch the England v Wales rugby match. I’m not sure either of us can say we exactly enjoyed it - it seemed to last for far more than 80 minutes - but it was exciting.
As if we haven’t had enough with the rugby, tonight is the Super Bowl, or the Superb Owl, as it has been named by those not wanting to pay fees merely to mention it. It is definitely turning out to be a more relaxing watch for us and it has had the delightful side-effect of a flood of photos of these little guys onto social media!
