Day 18.288: Exile #2’s Sunday Column #531

Exile #2 writes...

After a quick detour to take E5N1 a few bits a few bits and bobs, including a bow tie and dress shoes for some upcoming performances, we met up with our nature group and went for a lovely gusty walk on the beach. It is a beach that is not easily accessible in the summer due to parking restrictions and limited space. It also seems to be a beach where the seafront property owners are explicitly allowed to lay claim to the 25 feet or so of sand above the high tide line which, at times, doesn’t leave much left. But today, there weren’t too many owners around, we managed to find a bit of street parking, and enjoyed a lively afternoon. As an added bonus to the birds we saw were numerous of these guys bobbing about off shore, often just sticking their noses up but sometimes popping up further and inspecting us before disappearing under water.
