As for the birds, the hairy woodpeckers were particularly obliging.

Day 18.304: Marblehead Boat Launch
Our nature group gathered at Marblehead Boat Launch on the Biddeford side of the Saco River on Sunday morning (rather than our new-usual Saturday). It was a quiet morning, but in the end we saw a good number of birds and one large (non-human) mammal. Let's start there:
