Day 10.175: Fireworks across the bay

We did a few fairly traditional Fourth of July activities today - had a hike, cooked burgers and hotdogs on a charcoal grill, drank beer (OK that was just me). We finished the day with the most traditional of all Independence Day activities - watching some fireworks. We went down to the beach (with a few close friends the whole town) and watched the fireworks across the bay from Old Orchard Beach.

Bright flashes are hard in the dark:
