We spent the main part of today at church. It was nice to catch up with friends we hadn’t seen for a while, and Exile #1 also sang a song. Then we stayed afterwards to help make the small meeting rooms into bedrooms for guests that will be staying this week. We ate a quick lunch and snatched a moment’s rest, then this evening enjoyed a feast of roast beef (with Yorkshire puddings, of course) and carrot cake to finish. It’s back to school tomorrow morning but it’s been a relaxing week.
