We seem to have spent quite a bit of time this weekend puzzling over when the April school break is relative to where we are now, so that Exile #1 can decide when to take a couple of days off work. It’s surprisingly difficult to work these things out when so many of your markers have disappeared. The fact that it’s Easter season helps a little. We celebrated Palm Sunday online this morning, waving pot plants and pictures of palms on cell phones, rather than actual palm branches. So, that must make next week Easter.
Before we get to mark Easter, however, we have another significant day to observe. Come Wednesday, we will have three teenagers in the house, as E5N1 celebrates his 13th birthday. It will be an odd one, I’m sure but he seems to have the hang of online hangouts, so I guess that will have to do for a party until we can do something else. Hopefully we’ll have a real birthday cake though.
