Day 15.342: Exile #2’s Sunday Column #421

Exile #2 writes...

We spent the morning doing the same thing as much of the rest of the world, I suspect - watching the wild rollercoaster of a ride that was the World Cup Final.

The afternoon, however, was given over to music. E5N1 was invited to take part in a big band concert given by a local professional group (including E5N1’s band teacher) to raise money for the arts program at E5N1’s school. The high school students got to rehearse with the pros, and even join them for a couple of numbers at the end. It was a great concert and a great experience for the students.



Then this evening, as Exile #3 was feeling better than she has done in a while, we managed a few (fairly raucous) rounds of Pictionary, including an impressive guessing of the Sistine Chapel by Exile #4 from Exile #1’s drawing.
