It was so keen to get to those leaves that it fell off the small log several times having over-extended to try to reach them. It was quite diverting to watch for a few minutes!

Day 7.209: Vegetable, mineral, animal
On our return from our walk around the trail at the Rachel Carson refuge, we had a few minutes looking around the garden at the center, where these plants and signs caught my eye for a variety of reasons:

It was so keen to get to those leaves that it fell off the small log several times having over-extended to try to reach them. It was quite diverting to watch for a few minutes!
