Day 8.087: Easter on the beach

Sunday afternoon, despite being a little cold and rather breezy, was just too nice and sunny to stay indoors, so we searched-out the kites and headed for the beach...

It was surprisingly exciting kite-flying - swinging drastically between even wind and hugely high-flying (you can see where the first handle is part way down the string in the picture with Exile #4 because we added a second one to get the penguin even higher) and sudden stillness resulting in kite-plummeting and - in one case - a brief dip in the sea,

Meanwhile E5N1 occupied himself in the "construction zone". It was all rather good.
