Day 12.238: Anniversary walk at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary

Our day out on Tuesday continued with a walk at Mass Audubon's Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary - it's a fairly spectacular and varied landscape but a little under-managed to have maximum impact we thought.

Here are some of our sightings (clockwise from bottom-left): a painted turtle, a green frog, pickerel frog (I think), red-tailed hawk, white-breasted nuthatch, a lot of lilies in a lot of water and what we assumed was a beaver lodge rather taking over the boardwalk.

and afterwards, a visit to teaCAMILLA in nearby Danvers:

We didn't really do their amazing range of teas justice, but we did have a nice cuppa and a welcome sit down before our final stop of the day!
