Day 12.243: Red flags
The red flags - "No swimming" - were out along Marginal Way on Saturday.
It wasn't hard to see why:
But, not surprisingly, not everyone reacts the same way to dangerous waves. This surfer was in the water - struggling to get past the breakers while we were there:
