Day 13.175: Bean flowers

Exile #2's vegetable garden raised bed continues to do well - the runner beans are in beautiful flower now:


and late this afternoon, she spotted a hummingbird visiting these flowers. Hopefully I will catch one with the camera at some point.

    The first hummingbird I remember seeing was on runner bean flowers in Nanaimo!

      When I was writing this - I remembered the hummingbirds in Nanaimo and wondered what kind of flowers they were visiting!
