Day 14.148: What's wrong with that crow?

It was hot enough that E5N1 was sent home from school at noon because the classrooms were too hot to keep the kids in. This does not happen very often in Maine.

Everyone knows that the last thing you do on one of the hottest days of the year is lie in full sun wearing black. So we were understandably concerned by the sight of this crow on our neighbor's lawn:

But Exile #4's Google-Fu turned up this post and no sooner had we been reassured that this was normal behavior for some birds on hot sunny days than the crow stood up and flew away as if nothing had happened.
