Day 17.056: Even Exiles at the Water Works

Exile #2 took Exile #4 to an open house event at the new local water processing facility in our neighboring town. It turns river water into drinking water (including ours) so we are very appreciative of it in principle, and now at least two Exiles have seen a little of how it’s done and the were excited to learn that one of the processes is flocculation and that it takes place in a flocculator.

Here are a few of Exile #2’s photos. Not including, as far as I know, the flocculator, but including some fat pipes. One helpfully labeled “Raw Water”, presumably to avoid confusion with the precooked variety. Or not.
